Small Groups: We Utilize The Face-to-Face Model

We feel strongly that the biblical model for the church described in the Book of Acts was indeed comprised of a collection of smaller groups. We see this face-to-face model continuing to be the most powerful place where lives are being transformed by God's continuing power today.

Our Small Groups which are known as FACE-OUT Groups, interact to strengthen the personal faith-walks of its participants by specifically addressing four personal faith growth areas:

F [ faithfulness ]

A [ accountability ]

C [ commitment ]

E [ encouragement ]

OUTward Focus

Every FACE-OUT Group must be actively engaged in some work with persons not in their group. This is the "OUT" portion of the FACE-OUT name. It is outreach to others in the name of Jesus Christ. While there are wonderful social aspects of belonging to a small group, this intentional focus outward keeps the groups open and guards against becoming an ingrown social "club" committed only to its own members.
